Esports is a growing and highly engaging industry.  The Kent State Esports Club has been rapidly growing in membership since its inception. With this growth was the need for branding that matched the enthusiasm and dedication of those in the club.  
The redesign seeks to bring the club from the early stages of friends gathering a few times a week, to the new reality of a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable players. The wordmarks and logomarks evoke a more serious and competitive tone that has emerged among the ranks of professional gamers, while not losing the sense of nostalgia that brought these players together in the first place.
